Assign or create posts to your Category

This article will discuss the different ways you can add posts to a category. If you have yet to create one, you can click here to find out how to create your category.

There are different ways you can assign or add posts to your categories:

From the History page
While adding the post to your main queue
Directly to the category

Assign a category from the History page

Just head over to your History page and select the tweet you want to add to your category. This is great if you want to add a tweet you made outside of Hypefury.

For an existing post to qualify to be reposted, it has to be at least 7 days old

Assigning a category from the Composer

You can easily assign a category to a scheduled post by enabling it from the Main Composer Window.

Since this is added from the Main Composer, it will be scheduled to the Main queue

Note that the tweet will only be used in the Recurrent Post after the post has been posted from the Main Queue. Same cool down period applies.

Add to the Category directly

This method is when you want to add posts directly to the category, and skip the Main Queue. You can do this by going to your Categories Page and adding the post from there.

Posts added from here will be exclusive to the Recurrent Post feature

Important Notes

Multiple categories can be assigned to a post but will only be used once every 7 days.
Posts with cross-posting turned on will continue to post to other platforms whenever it is re-posted.
Posts can be edited and will take effect on the next iteration.

Next step would be to add a schedule to your category to start posting.
