Why am I getting "Unable to process request due to missing initial state" when using Firefox?

When you are using Firefox, you might face the following issue when signing in to Hypefury.

Hypefury Error Message

This is due to the very strict protection that Firefox has by default. Hypefury needs trackers and cookies to be able to log you in using your Twitter account.

Resolving the issue by allowing cookies and trackers for all sites

Head over to Firefox's Settings page and select Privacy and Security.

On the Enhanced Tracking Protection setting, select Custom and uncheck both the Cookies and Tracking content boxes.

Note: Doing this will disable the protection for all the websites you visit. If you would like to disable only for Hypefury, check the next section.

You can then head back to the login page, refresh, and sign in again.

Resolving the issue by enabling cookies and trackers for Hypefury only

While on the same page where the error is shown (*hypefury.firebase.com), click on the shield icon at the left of the link bar.

Next, disable the Enhanced Tracking Protection by toggling it off.

You then need to go back to the Hypefury login page and do the same thing.

You should see the shield icon change for both sites.

Now refresh the page, and try signing in again. You should now be successfully logged in.
