Problems scheduling videos

Sometimes the integration with Twitter's API can cause problems for users trying to schedule video tweets. This is because Twitter's API doesn't currently handle videos so well.

But we've found a few workarounds that can help you consistently add tweets with video to your Hypefury schedule.

Video Specifications

In order to successfully schedule videos whilst using Hypefury, we recommend that you use the following video limitations:

Max video resolution: 720p (1280x720)
Max file size: 70mb
Use an MP4 file extension

Making the video fit the specs

If your video is any larger than these recommended resolution or file size, then we highly suggest that you compress the video file using the free and open source video transcoder: Handbrake.

Once you import your file into Handbrake, you can try using the video preset General > Fast 720p30.

Make sure that under the Dimensions tab the video resolution is 1280x720 (or less).

Once you've exported a new version of your video, double check that the file size is 70mb or less. If it's larger than this, then we strongly suggest playing around with the Quality settings under the Video tab by lowering it until you can reach an acceptable balance of video quality and file size.

Check your video length

If your video is long in length, it might be very difficult for you to compress the file down to underneath 70mb in file size.

So as a general rule, it's a good idea to only use videos for scheduling that are around a maximum 2-3 minutes in length. This isn't set as a video limitation above, because it could depend on various factors about your video such as the resolution and bitrate quality.
